What's New ?

 

• The Collector's Crown Version 5 is a complete re-write of Version 4 - and it is NOT compatible with this version, as it uses a different data structure.

• It features greatly improved display customization, more Collectors, one of which can be customized to a degree. It also expands the capabilities of the individual Collectors.

• Great care has been taken to reduce the number of bugs.

• Version 5 can be used in most screen resolutions greater than (or equal to ) about 1024 x 768 , but is optimized for a 1280 x 960 resolution at (120DPI). It can be used at smaller resolutions , but will display badly.

• While it was imperative to use A4 paper before, practically any paper size can be used with version 5.
   

• From version 5.2 a number of new features have been included :
                                                              Insurance Reports
                                                              Loan Reports
                                                              Dialog customization
                                                              Feedback Form access
   

• From version 5.2.71 you may select the paper e.g. the background for many of the reports.

Did I mention that the number of bugs is decreasing steadily ?

13 May 08 -     A new version of The Collector's Crown Trial is now available
                         You will be able to use the program 20 times before registration is required.

  Needless to say a few other improvements have also been made - have a look at it !

16 Aug 08 -    From version 5.7.1 support for various font sizes (DPI values) has been improved.

Also, the playing of media in the Media Collector is substantially improved.

10 Feb 09 -    Version 5.8.6 is now available.

This is a substantial re-write of The Collector's Crown.
The program is now shown windowed ( due to many requests received).
To make customization easier there is now a theme support, and improved graphics.

01-11-2010 -    A new version of The Collector's Crown, called Gerribert's Collection Studio, is now available.
                        This is a complete re-write of The Collector's Crown, with better graphics, customization, and expanded capabilities.
                        Its is currently in the Beta version.
                        While Gerribert's Collection Studio is in the Beta version , updates, for bug fixes and improvements, will be frequent
13-01-2011 -    Program is now released      

16-02-2011 -   Due to a bug in the later versions of  Gerribert's Collection Studio v 6.3.x,
                        customers wishing to upgrade to version 6.4.x should re-install the program, if the attempted upgrading results in a  message "You have the latest version...."
